Kacie Fromhart

About Me

I'm a graphic designer from the west coast with a love for stories, crafting, and treasure hunting at local thrift stores. I'm very inspired by print materials and am always looking for ways to connect tactile, analog processes to my digital work.

Books & Magazines

Project Hail Mary

A new take on one of my favorite books, Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir.

Soups, Stews, & Chili

A digital recipe book full of UTP employee favorites, for which I did the food styling, photography, and cover/interior design.

Foodie Magazine

A vegan edition of the fictional magazine, Foodie, featuring a seasonal cover, several internal layouts, and a full-page ad.

Emoji Booklet

Before Keith Houston's account of the birth emojis was a book (Face with Tears of Joy: A Natural History of Emoji), it was an online blog post that I used to practice typesetting and cover design.

Ascending Tragedy: Love & War

This is a cover for the second book of the Ascending Tragedy series by Nathan Raia, scheduled to be published in 2026.

Cookin' with Halle

Using content from the chef herself, I curated a clean, playful cover for her brand that was coherent with her existing look and feel.

Marketing

Social Media Graphics project image

Social Media Graphics

The UTP marketing team collaborates with physicians to share timely health information with the public. I present that information in carousels, animated graphics, and static graphics for Instagram, X, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

Conference Design project image

Conference Design

I've had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of materials for conferences – from large scale signage and invites, to logos and themed decks.

UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10k

I've created digital advertisements, event wayfinding, t-shirt design, and branded promotional items and games for UTP’s annual health fair. I also reworked the race's old logo into the new title sponsor logo and packaged out those files for the race group.
